Presentation the Domain


Our holiday village with a surface of more than 9 ha, is situated in the dale of the valley, on 1055 m above the sea level, surrounded with mountains up to 3411 m of height (Brec du Chambeyron).
The Domain is next to the river "Ubaye" and has a little beach where you can sunbathe. You can enter the river directly from the camping site with a kayak, a raftingboat or hydro-speed.

    Presentation Valley of the Ubaye

    Begins at the lac of Serre-Ponçon and ends at the Italian border, the valley is situated at 150 km from the Cote d'Azur (Nice). The low part of the valley (where the camping site is situated) as well as the higher part (as from Saint Paul sur Ubaye) has a beautiful, rough and southern mountain scenery.

    More than 1000 km of footpaths along picturesque mountain villages, little valleys (vallons) an 80 maintain lakes.
    Beneath the sun of the Provence, you can enjoy your favorite holiday activities.

    The valley of the Ubaye is known as :
    - the valley with the biggest number of wild flowers (alpine meadows, edelweiss, etc.).
    - very rich fauna, marmots, chamois, special birds, etc.
    - the region with very healthy blue sky and a wonderful starry sky.

    You can find in the valley :
    - the biggest lake of Europe at 2.000 m (lac d’Allos)
    - the highest passable road of Europe (route de la Bonnette/Restefond, 2.880 m)
