Cycling Route
Because of the legendary road of the Restefond / la Bonette - the highest passable road of Europe - and several other mountain passes, this region in one of the most famous and defiant cycleregions of France.
Our holidays village is known for its good, adapted organisation of cycleweeks for groups or cycling organisations : rental only, halt-board or full-board (includes lunchpackages and pastameal around 3-4 pm).
The chalets have many trumps for a wonderful bicylclestay :
- Storeroom for the bicylce, free space in full nature to maintain the bike, shower inside the chalet or strongly flowing water in the sanitary facilities, adapted meals for bikers, etc ...

Cycling Circuit of the 3 cols
CIRCUIT OF THE 3 COLS, a not-competitive tour across 3 cols : Cayolle - Champs - Allos. 124 km, 3300 m difference of height. This event is a big success and organised every year on the 1st saturday of august.
RALLY OF THE HIGHEST ROUTE OF EUROPE, a not-competitive tour, organised every year on the 3rd sunday of july.
Two possible routes :
- Jausiers - cime de la Bonette and back = 48 km / 1589 m difference of height.
- Jausiers - cime de la Bonette
- St Etienne de Tinée and back = 104 km / 3230 m difference of height
Cycling Certificate of the 7 cols
Tou can earn a certificate of the 7 cols after climbing the 7 famous mountainpasses (cols) of the Tour de France. Its possible to buy a card in the tourism agency in Barcelonnette. On every top you can find a stampmachine. In the tourism agency you will get your certificate.
Cycling Mountain bike (VTT)
The valley of the Ubaye has many mountain bike paths of several difficulty : small mountainpaths and unpaved forestpaths, even descent of skipaths. All of these with a detailled route description.
